All those who would love to shed those extra pounds would want to lose them in as little time as one can think of. You will come across a number of fat loss diets that assure the dieters that they can lose weight in minimum time. The reliability and success of these diets differ from person to person. However, you should follow some tips that can help you lose weight as fast as possible (irrespective of the diet you follow).
Have several meals
I am sure you must have heard about it a number of times but you don’t think it can be effective. If you eat nutritious food on a regular basis then your body will be able to burn more calories than it normally does. Do not eat three large meals a day. Split them up into six parts and have six meals everyday. You will not eat a lot this way and you won’t get hungry. The most important thing is that there will be a boost in your energy levels because of eating constantly all through the day.
Do weights
It must not be news to you that lifting weights can tone up your body. There is a misconception that lifting weights would make you bulky and huge. This is just not true. You will only reduce the amount of fat in your body and obtain muscles that are lean.
I feel that I should let you know that fats are burnt by muscles.
Lifting weights does not mean that you have to lift 100 pounds. Go for five or ten pounds. Repeat the weight lifting for fifteen to twenty times. When you include lifting weight in your daily exercise, you will find a difference after some time.
Work out on a regular basis
It will not work if you exercise once in thirty days! You will not lose weight if you do not try to make an attempt to lose weight. In other words, you will have to work out at least three days weekly and you need to spend 30-60 minutes working out. A number of women would answer that they do all the domestic work and this way they maintain an energetic life.
There’s a difference, however, between physical activity and physical exercise.
What you should do to lose weight is physical exercise so that you can see the outcome for yourself.
Processed Food: A definite no-no
Check out all the eatables in your pantry and find out the amount of sucrose or glucose that they contain by checking the ingredient column. You have no idea how harmful it is to your body if you take refined foods all the time. After taking these foods you would feel full of energy and after some time you would feel as if you have no energy left in your body at all. In their place, opt for fresh vegetables and fruits.
Circuit training saves time
So you are leading a hectic life, taking care of your family and kids. You have no time to exercise for sixty minutes because of this. So here’s good advice. It is not necessary for you to work out for an hour. Reduce sixty minutes’ workout to just half an hour. Don’t take a break after doing one exercise. Carry on to the other one right away.
This way the heart rate would be high which in turn would make your muscles more toned and firm. Simply spend half and hour. It will be enough.
Drink water
It is true that you can keep your body from getting dehydrated by drinking a lot of water. On the other hand, it has another significant part. Believe it or not, you can also shed those pounds by drinking lots of water. There isn’t a single calorie in water so drink as much as you can instead of drinking other sweet beverages or juices that are loaded with calories.
Move
I know it is not possible for you to move all the time but you should walk if you get the time. You cannot lose much weight if you sit in front of the computer all day. Go and walk to get yourself a glass of water. Think of any excuse to move your body for some time. Your body would be grateful to you for doing that.
Walking
One surprisingly amazing exercise is walking. Note that I am not speaking of strolling down the street or shopping mall. What I am talking about is strolling on the beach or up the hill. You should walk at an increased pace to increase your heart rate so that it would feel like you are actually exercising. Fat burning and muscle building will not take place in a day or two, but you can definitely speed up the process if you are aware of the do’s and don’ts.
